Our Programs
01
The Kaushal Program (age 11 onwards) recognizes the systemic challenges faced by urban poor youth—including early marriage, exposure to crime, and gender-based restrictions. Through a structured, three-pillar approach—Education, Employment, and Entrepreneurship—Kaushal equips young people with the tools to overcome these barriers. Financial literacy and environmental awareness are integrated throughout the program to build responsible, future-ready citizens.
Education
We build learning ecosystems that prepare youth for real life—not just exams.
• Support for school retention and re-enrollment
• Life skills: communication, negotiation, leadership
• Digital fluency: exposure to STEM, AI, and tech tools
• Emotional resilience and critical thinking development
We prepare youth for work, growth, and dignity in the workplace.
• Job readiness: resumes, interviews, workplace behavior
• Connections with verified employers
• Soft skills: punctuality, teamwork, problem-solving
• Industry exposure and mentorship
We nurture self-employment for youth with ideas and local insight.
• Grassroots business exposure and ideation labs
• Training in marketing, finance, and operations
• Mentorship from community entrepreneurs
• Encouragement to create purpose-driven ventures

"My name is Ravi, and I live in Bawana where money was always tight. Joining the livelihood programme changed everything for me. I learned how to manage my money, save for the future, and make better spending choices. The skills I gained, like computer training and tailoring, helped me start my own small business. Today, I feel more in control of my life and my future. I am grateful for this programme, as it has given me the tools to build a better life for myself and my family."
