Cancellation / Refund
1. Introduction
At Children India, we deeply appreciate the support of our donors, partners, and volunteers. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children through education, health, and livelihood initiatives, we strive to ensure transparency and clarity in all our financial transactions. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms under which donations, sponsorships, and other payments made to Children India may be canceled or refunded.
2. Donationsdddd
All donations made to Children are voluntary and non-refundable.
We encourage donors to thoroughly review their donation details before proceeding with any contributions.
In the event of an error in the donation amount or duplicate transactions, donors may request a refund within 7 days of the transaction date by contacting our support team.
Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may take up to 10 business days to process.
3. Event Registrations and Participation Fees
If a donor registers for an event or campaign and wishes to cancel, they may request a refund at least 10 days before the event date.
Refunds for event participation fees will not be issued if cancellation occurs less than 10 days before the event.
If an event is canceled by Children, registered participants will be eligible for a full refund or may choose to contribute their fees as a donation.
4. Sponsorship Contributions
Sponsorship contributions made towards a child’s education, health, or livelihood programs are non-refundable.
If a sponsor wishes to discontinue their sponsorship, they must notify us at least 30 days in advance. Future recurring contributions may be canceled, but past payments will not be refunded.
5. Membership Fees
If an individual or organization opts for a membership plan with Children, the membership fee is non-refundable.
Membership cancellations will apply to future renewals only and must be requested before the next billing cycle.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, please contact us with the following details:
Full name
Contact information
Transaction details (date, amount, payment method)
Reason for the refund request
Requests can be sent to our support team via children@children.org.in or through the contact form available on our website.
7. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction.
Refund processing may take 7-10 business days, depending on the bank/payment service provider.
Children India is not responsible for any bank or processing fees incurred during the refund transaction.
8. Changes to this Policy
Children India reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time.
Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
